Happy Friday!!
Ok, I don't know if shared the information about Alex, but just in case...at 6 month, Alex roll-over!!
And just yesterday, Alex drank from the straw. I didn't know if he could, so I just got a plastic straw that Jacob used before and a lid and cup with water and he drank!! I'm so proud of him!!
I'm going to be alone this whole weekend. Ed is out in Long Beach for a retreat with his office and Jacob is with his dad in Long Beach. Just Alex and me the whole weekend. So what are your plans for this weekend?

babies can drink from straws?! i didn't know that.
i'm going to the renaissance fair this weekend with sam's sister, should be interesting. have fun with your kiddies!

i'm always amazed by what our babies can do when given the opportunity. I remember the first time I tried propping eve up in a sitting position at 4.5 months. She was a little wobbly, but she could balance for several seconds while leaning on one of her hands. brandon's 5 months old and he's starting to scoot across the floor. He hikes his little butt up and pushes really hard with his feet. He can't raise himself all the way up on his arms when he's doing that, but he definitely gets across the floor. Then he'll rest on his stomach and hold his front half up on his arms.
babies are so smart!! they learn so much just from observing
alex is such a joyful baby, i love it!
