Happy Friday!!
I did it!! I can see with out my glasses or my contacts!!
I was so nervous this morning, even more than Tuesday. I didn't know what is going to happen, so I didn't expect anything, but today I was really scared. I had my hubby the whole time, but still I was just really really nervous. You have no idea how nervous. My appointment is at 11:30 and we were a little bit late, so right after I went to the exam office, I was called right after I checked in. I told the nurses and the doc how nervous I was. So they numb my right eye couple of it, and off to the chair. I was told the doc that I am very very nerous, and he just said don't worry. I layed down and they added more numbing drops, I can feel the laser cutting my eye. I can actually feel it. It was not painful, but I can feel the heat on my eye. I was praying when the laser was making a flip for my eye. The doc counts down how many second and then black on my right eye. Then that was it...the hard part was over. It's just knowing that if I move my eye, the laser is going to cut my eye. It's just scaring. After that I had to rest my right eye, which the doc was examing my right eye. Afer 10 or more minutes, then it's the laser again, for have 20/20 for my right eye. Once again, I was nervous, I was cold, so then gave me blanket and a teddy to make me feel better. It took about 25 seconds and the nurse count down the seconds. Dr. Salz is awesome! He made me feel comfortable and was very gentle with his voice. I'm so thankful that I don't have to wear glasses, except when I'm wearing sunglasses.
Yesturday I went to see my doctor, and he said that my lupus is active. So now all I have to do is to take care of myself so I can have a baby by the end of the year. The chapter eye thing is done...now my new chapter is take take better care of myself so that I can have a baby.
Have a great weekend!!
